I was impressed with this fantastic item right from the start. The pink deodoriser fluid did take only a short while to set up, and once I had poured it into the flush water system with a bit of pump action it left a pleasant smell behind.

As I continued to use it, I discovered that adding a small amount of blue cleaning fluid mixed with a small amount of water coated the bottom of the waste tank. This helped to neutralize any remaining odors, and it worked beautifully when used in conjunction with the deodoriser when re-filled. (I've tried other methods before and they didn't quite work as well.)

The ease and speed at which I could empty and rinse out the porta potti was a major plus, but I did have to practice getting the waste fluid to flow correctly into the toilet. It's not rocket science, after all!

One of the things that really took some getting used to was having to hold a small black bin bag against the exit hole to seal off the liquid as I tilted the pipe. However, once I got the hang of it, I found it was easy and worked well.

I had to make a few adjustments on my part - for example, I needed to cut a length of wide-lidded Gerry cans that allowed me to carry the base with some ease, and I also found that carrying them around wasn't too bad. For those who are struggling with this particular model, I'd recommend giving it a try.

As for performance, I've been happy with it. The lavender commode liners I use have really helped to eliminate any lingering smells, and the bin with a click closed seal has made emptying quite simple.
