We have just finished converting this stunning antique solid oak chest of drawers into a bathroom vanity unity, finished with a beautiful basin and brushed brass/ gold high rise tap. The wood has been treated with a waterproof Matt oil finish to protect it from water and splashes. The drawers have been adapted to function with the plumbing systems behind so that the unit provides much needed useable storage. Will be hard to let go of this one, but looking forward to seeing it going to a good home and and being the finishing touch to someone’s bathroom or cloakroom. Feel free to ask any question.
