From a Chapel, Church etc. Signed on the rear and is c1880. Superb looking item and is on ornate mounts with a heavy cast rail again all cast brass and no plating anywhere. It would look really nice mounted on an old wooden plinth to give it a farmhouse or converted barn look or mounted in a bathroom, kitchen, over a radiator etc.
